Almost ready to go
In the cartoon above (given to me as a going-away card), my nephew Sam accurately visualizes the idiotic things that often pass through the mind at a meditation course.
What a whirlwind the last month and a half. I've been working full time, completing all the necessary details for a Fulbright scholarship application to go to Mexico next year, helping various friends with various needs, visiting people for the last time (sometimes several last times) for four months, and oh yes trying to prepare for my trip t0 India. Actually it's all pretty much done now, I just had my interview at UNH for the Fulbright and it went well, I just need to do a couple things and be brought to the bus station tomorrow. From there, to NYC (Brooklyn--I can hear my niece Mary saying, "UGH, I hate Brooklyn!) then to JFK the next day.
